March Service Projects
Mark your calendars and be ready to procure (dig) and plant native trees in Row River Nature Park. Dig trees for transplanting on the following two dates: March 7th; 3:00 to 6:00 pm and March 9th; 8:00 tyo 10:00 am. Plant trees on the two dates: March 14th; 3:00 to 6:00 pm and March 16th; 8:00 to 10:00.
Digging will be located at Cunningham property (30523 Overholser Road, Cottage Grove) where there is an abundance of Big Leaf Maple, Vine Maple, Hawthorn, Wild Cherry, Cascara and Oregon Oak seedlings. Digging is easy and you should be able to dig 10 trees in an hour. Bring shovel and gloves to dig marked trees.
Planting will be at Row River Nature Park. Thanks to Coast Fork Watershed Council for help with planting sites.
What a win, win, win project. Nature gets a restoration boost...we get to partner with local volunteer groups...we get to participate in a family frendly project.

Meeting Schedule
We meet the FIRST and THIRD Thursday of each month at 7am meeting at Café Sheilagh, 1043 Hwy 99 N in Cottage Grove. There's ample parking in front and in the adjacent parking lot to the north, the meeting space can hold up to 50, and we'll be able to order breakfast off the menu. See you there!
